Skirts first, knits over
Five skirts from mini to maxi, and three hooded cable knits that close over all of them.
A waist that works sitting down
Most of our skirts sit on a natural or high waist with an elastic back hidden under a clean front panel, which is the detail that lets the same skirt work over a shirt and under a sweater. Plaids are matched at the centre back and side seams, and pleats are stitched down far enough to hold a crease through a day of sitting. Where a print is used, the repeat is checked across every seam.
A skirt and the knit above it
A pleated mini with a hooded cable, a plaid midi with the same knit open, and a maxi under a full-zip cardigan.

The sitting test
A skirt is judged at a desk
Every prototype is worn for a working day, seated and standing, before the pattern is approved. A hem that climbs is a hem that gets returned.
The close-up: lace hem, zipper, cable
A lace hem that is stitched flat so it does not curl, a side zipper that keeps the front panel uninterrupted, and a cable knit tested on a full sleeve rather than a swatch so the scale reads from across a room.
Before you choose a length
Lengths in inches and cm
Mini and maxi measured on the sample, so you know where the hem lands.
Elastic where it is hidden
A covered elastic back gives without breaking the line at the front.
30 days to return
